Chris Brown apologises for Rihanna row

Chris Brown has issued an apology for the incident that took place between him and his former partner Rihanna.

The Umbrella star was forced to cancel several appearances after Brown allegedly physically attacked her.
In a statement released by his spokesman, Brown said he is being counseled by his pastor and his family, but added that much of what has been reported on the subject is untrue.
Brown said: "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired.

"Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong.

He added that he would like to elaborate further, but is unable to do until all legal issues are resolved.

Brown's father has maintained that there are "two sides to every story".

It was recently reported that police are investigating a period last year when Rihanna wore an eye-patch, to determine whether Brown may have been implicated.
